Nicholas Robert Fabio, 73, of Langhorne, PA, passed away on Monday, February 3rd, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Nicholas was born in Philadelphia, PA, on July 12, 1951, a beloved son of the late Elva (Trappler) and Joseph Fabio.
Nicholas leaves behind a legacy of love and family. He is cherished by his beloved wife of 55 years, Joan (nee Gleason), and his devoted children: Lisa Conaway (Kevin), Patricia Minch (Patrick), Kimberly Samarco (Tony), and Karen Fabio (Pete Johnson). Nicholas was the proud grandfather of ten: Nicholas (Brenda), Joseph, Kevin, Melissa, Victoria, Anthony, Peter (Yichen), Samantha, Gianna, and Amanda. His joy extended to his role as a great-grandfather to Tessa, Addison, Sophia, Ella, and the eagerly anticipated baby boy Samarco. Nicholas's loving spirit lives on through his dear sister, Angeline Currier, and his brothers, Thomas Fabio, Edmund Fabio, and Joseph Gleason. His memory remains a shining beacon of love and dedication to family.
He is preceded by his parents, and brothers, John Fabio and Joseph Fabio.
Nicholas dedicated a chapter of his life to upholding the safety and security of his community with the Philadelphia Police Department. Afterward, he embarked on a distinguished three-decade-long career with SEPTA, where he found his true calling in service. As a proud member of the Local 290 Transport Workers Union, Nicholas's leadership and dedication culminated in six impactful years as Union President, where he tirelessly championed the rights and welfare of his fellow workers. His journey stands as a testament to his unwavering commitment to public service and solidarity.
He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. May he rest in peace.

Sal & I have many wonderful memories of Nick. He has always been so caring and hospitable to us. To everyone for sure. From the time i was young Nick has been a brother to me more than an inlaw. Kind, caring & generous of heart. We will certainly miss him. Sorry, cannot send pics we are not at home. The picture that comes to mind is of when He, Joan and Nicholas came to OH to visit us after we moved there. I was so thankful they came. Love you.
