Nicholas Ryan "Nick" Fulton

Nicholas "Nick" Ryan Fulton, the loving son of Tim and Michelle Fulton, was born February 15, 1990, in Rolla, Missouri. He was a 2008 graduate of Salem High School. After graduating, Nick worked in Commercial and Housing Construction with his grandfather Paul. In 2014, Nick began his aviation career, following in his father's footsteps. He received his training from his father and obtained his Private Rating in 2014. In 2015, Excel Helicopters was established where he held Vice President. Nick then obtained his Commercial Rated Pilot License in 2016, a very proud moment for him and his father. He loved to fly, was a quick learner, and proficient in his field. On May 20, 2018, Nick married his sweetheart, Chelsie Rachelle Tune. They were blessed with one son, Joel. Nick was a good husband, great dad, wonderful son, kind brother, and loving uncle to Isaac. He was a caring grandson, constantly checking in on his grandparents. Nick had an adventurous spirit; he enjoyed boating and skiing at Norfork Lake. Nick and Chelsie loved to travel, they have visited Iceland, and Costa Rica, and most recently went to Disney World, Amelia Island, and Blowing Rock. Spending time making memories with his family and friends was something he looked forward to. Nick had faith in Jesus and was a member of Grace Community Church. His heart was big, he was very generous, and always willing to lend a helping hand. Nick passed away on August 7, 2025, at the age of thirty-five years. Those left behind to treasure his memory include his loving wife: Chelsie Fulton of Salem, MO; son: Joel Fulton of the home; parents: Tim and Michelle Fulton of Salem, MO; father and mother-in-law: Mark and Sherry Tune of Salem, MO; brothers: Andy Fulton of St. Louis, MO and Jordan Fulton of Washington, MO; sister-in-law: Erin Pogue and husband Logan of Salem, MO; nephew: Isaac Pogue; grandparents: Violet Fulton and Leroy and Shirley Davis; grandmother-in-law: Shirley Tune; as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Preceding him in death was his grandfather: Paul Fulton. Nick at times was stubborn and hardheaded but he had a heart of gold. He saw everything as something to conquer and was driven to succeed. In the words of his family, "He wanted to be the best in everything he did, and he was". He will be forever missed and forever loved. Funeral Services for Nicholas "Nick" Ryan Fulton were held Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at Grace Community Church with Pastor Terry Davis officiating. Special Music was provided by Logan Pogue singing "I'll Fly Away", "Go Rest High On That Mountain", and "Save A Place For Me". Serving as Pallbearers were Andy Fulton, Jordan Fulton, Zach Shepherd, Derrick Hubbs, Collin Geninatti, and Travis Fulton Jr. Burial was in the Green Forest Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Wilson Mortuary of Salem, Missouri. Memorial Contributions may be made in memory of Nick Fulton and left with Wilson Mortuary.
