It is with great sadness that the passing of Robert (Bob) Boyd Fulton is announced. Bob was born in Licking County, Ohio on September 28th, 1935, to Clyde and Mary Bell Fulton.
He will be lovingly remembered by his beloved wife, Joyce Fulton, and his children, Eric Fulton, and Valerie (Jeff) Riehl. His beloved grandchildren Patti Riehl, Beth Clarkson, Erin Bomia, Jessica and Katelyn Enderle. His 2 great grandchildren Landen and Logan Saylor. He was preceded in death by his parents Clyde and Mary Bell and two brothers John and Gordan and one sister Hazel.
Bob graduated from Tippecanoe High School, in Tipp City, Ohio in 1954. He spent 5 years of his early life serving our country with the Marine Corp. He did several tours, including his favorite tour, Thailand. He was rewarded a Good Conduct Medal in August of 1955, guarded the US embassy in Bangkok Thailand, and was a member of Marine Corp Weapons Company. He was honorably discharged as an Sergeant (E4) from the Marine Corp on August 17th, 1961. Bob then married his lovely wife Joyce, on September 16th, 1961; had 2 children which they raised in Grove City. Bob dedicated a career to Carpentry at Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus Ohio, where he retired from in 2000. They have enjoyed the last several years in Florida where he was a member of New Life Church in Bonita Springs, Florida.
Other pleasures in Bob's life were riding his John Deere tractor, working in his woodshop, traveling with family, and missionary trips with Buckeye Baptist Builders.
A celebration of life will be announced later.
