Nicholas L. Gemas

Dover – Nicholas L. Gemas, 84, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 21, 2024, at Webster at Rye. He was surrounded by the love of his family. Born on July 2, 1939, Nicholas was the son of the late Louis and Helen (Servetas) Gemas.
A New Jersey native, Nicholas moved his family to New Hampshire in 1964. Ultimately he joined the restaurant industry and became Director of Operations for Burger King in New Hampshire and Arizona.
Nick was active in his church and volunteered for the Greek Festival for many years. He cherished spending time with his family and playing card games with his wife and grandchildren.
Along with his parents, Nicholas is preceded in death by his brother, John Gemas.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Margaret (Popp) Gemas; children, Nicholas Gemas II and wife, Theresa of Alton Bay, William Gemas and wife, Linda, of Rochester, Timothy Gemas of Dover, Helen Maldini of Dover, Robyn Collins and husband, Justin, of Dover, Mark Gemas and wife, Lorie of Dover; and Jannine Cameron and husband, James, of Dunnellon, FL; brother, William Gemas and wife, Diane of Conroe, TX; sister-in-law, Judy Gemas of New Hampshire; 16 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Tasker Funeral Home has been entrusted with Nicholas' care and a funeral service will be at 11 AM on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 93 Locust Street, Dover with a burial to follow at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cemetery in Dover.
