Nicholas Matthew Keithline, 34, of Dickson, Tenn., formerly of Castle Rock, Colo., passed away June 12, 2023 after a courageous battle against stomach cancer. Born on Sept. 17, 1988, the youngest son of Mary Lou and Rodney H. Keithline, Nick (or “Nicky”) never lost his indelible sense of humor or his characteristic smile when faced with the most formidable obstacles. He graduated from Dickson County High School and attended Middle Tennessee State University.
Survivors include his mother, Mary Lou; his older brothers, Brian, and Aaron; his sisters-in-law, Kristy, and Caroline; his nephew, John Keahey-Keithline; his niece, Sophie Grace; and aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Nick worked as a driver and dispatcher for Mid-Cumberland Transportation, a job that he enjoyed because of his ability to help others during their time of need. Nick loved to draw, to work on cars (and to attend car shows), to build and to collect models, to decorate for the holidays, and overall, to spread good cheer throughout the year. His family members and friends always will remember him as someone who placed others first.
A Celebration of Life will be held in Colorado at a later date.

Nick was a wonderful person and human being. I love working with him at mid-Cumberland . He was always respectful, and a very sweet man . He will be greatly missed. My prayers are with the family.
