Nicholas Krieger

Nicholas Krieger, born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on November 27th of 1978 died in his bed on Tuesday, April 4th of 2023 in Manchester, New Hampshire. Nick moved through his life quietly and knew the good moments to share his humor, usually accompanied by a laugh that was whole.
Nick's early years in Pennsylvania saw him in an orange, one-piece snowsuit in the creek catching salamanders and making clay balls that dried atop the support beam in the garage. He shared a room with his brother; there they watched Night Rider on television and recorded some perimeter-pushing language on a cassette deck. He liked to work with tools, taking down the handrail leading upstairs, and although the youngest in the neighborhood, he was seemingly the strongest.
Nick and his family moved to the Chicago area of Illinois when he was six. Later, he excelled at baseball, made loyal friends, and developed a fierce, independent nature. His first job at a garage would see him pick up tools again and never put them down. After graduating from Naperville North in 1997, Nick went west and graduated from Wyoming Tech in Laramie, Wyoming with an AA in Automotive Maintenance / Business.
After a brief return to the Chicago area, Nick spent close to the next two decades in Las Vegas, Nevada until making the courageous determination to seek help and support in New England. There, after 17 months of taking steps to rebuild, drinking morning coffees, eating evening dinners, and sipping late night teas, he succumbed to his sickness.
Nick leaves behind his quiet love and deep breaths taken outdoors; his parents Bob and Linda; his son Connor, age 16 and his mother, Brandy; his brother Justin and sister-in-love, Bridget; his three nephews, Holden, Brighton, and Dylan; his godparents Joe and Helene; his aunt and uncle Tom and Margie; and numerous cousins.
As a child, Nick was always optimistic and open to possibilities. "Could be" was his most repeated phrase. His family asks that he is remembered as someone who felt everything and loved himself and his family as best he could.
