Nicholas Lemons Obituary
He was born June 29, 1994, in Michigan City, to Daniel Lemons and Melissa Kay Loggins.
Nicholas has worked in the family business as an Arborist since he was 15. Having a love of nature and the outdoors, his favorite time of year is summer, when he could take out his new speed boat, hike, and just be active. As a youth he loved to draw, was on the wrestling team, and he has also gotten several trophies from skateboarding, and was involved in Ju Jitsu. His kids were his number 1 priority and he loved spending time with them.
He is survived by his parents; his daughters, June and Sophia; his fiancé of 13 years, Melanie McConnell; brothers, Kyle, Chad, Jacob Lemons, and Alex Turczynski; grandparents, Thomas Loggins and Wilma Lemons; cousins, Kacandra, Maranda, Darius, Annaliese, Jayda, Tommy Lee, Brayden, Ellie, Divinity; and nieces and nephews, Isaiah, Elias, Mariana, Avah, Austin, Jaxson, Kinsley Sue, Kyle, Lukas, Jeremy, Ayden, Aubrey, Ava, Asher, Harper, Paisley, and Colt.
Nicholas was preceded in death by his grandmother, Rosetta Loggins, and grandfather, Danny Lemons Sr.
A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, December 22, 2025 at Lakeview Funeral Home and Crematory, 247 W. Johnson Rd., La Porte, (219) 362-3100, with Pastor Paul Pickens officiating. A visitation and viewing will be held from 12 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
