He was born on June 21, 1942 to the late Edward and Esther (Linckenhely) Haas in Massillon, OH.
A 1960 graduate of Central Catholic High School, he retired from The Hoover Company in 2000, after 38 years of service. Nick was a veteran of The Ohio National Guard. Nick was also a member of The North Canton Chapel; and faithfully attended the men's Bible Study with his new found love for the Word of God.
Nick is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Patricia (Nibeel) Haas; their children, Nicholas (Laura) Haas, Jr., Daniel J. Haas, and Matthew (Amy) Haas; and grandchildren, Anna, Nicholas III, Becca, Ben, Joseph, and Claire.
