Born on December 10, 1986 to his loving parents, Paul Prokosch and Paula Shipstad.
Nick passed away on his 38th birthday, December 10, 2024.
Nick is survived by his parents, Paul (Korine) Prokosch and Paula Shipstad (Bruce Eshelman); brothers, Joshua and Jacob; many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
Nick was known for his big smile, blue eyes and warm heart. He had a deep love for his family and always expressed that love unashamedly.
He was employed at Cambridge Allina Medical Center where he worked in the food service department. Nick also had a part time position at Domino's Pizza in Cambridge.
Nick was passionate about playing softball with the sober league. Often he would play several games in a day. He was also skilled pool player. In the winter, Nick loved to go snowmobiling, especially with his mom.
Although he had issues with addiction, Nick did his best to fight back. He was always proud to reach another milestone. At the time of his passing, he had reached 2 1/2 years of sobriety.
Nick, bask in Glory. We'll miss you and we'll love you forever.
Visitation 2:00 - 4:00 pm Monday, December 16 at Mueller-Bies Funeral Home (Roseville), 2130 N. Dale St. at County Road B, followed by a funeral service at 4:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the family.
