Our beloved Nicholas "Niko" Reyes passed away at the short age of 23 on Friday, August 11,
2023. He has joined his awaiting family members in Heaven, where together they will enjoy
eternal bliss
Though Niko left this world far too soon, we know he left this world a better place. He loved so
many and was also loved by so many. Niko had an enormous heart, he loved to laugh and dance.
He was always smiling, encouraging, and helping others. Niko also enjoyed the ocean, listening
to music and playing with his dog sister, Lucy. He was studying to obtain his HS diploma at
Triton College. He worked as a line cook in the restaurant industry and loved his work, his goal
was to one day be a head chef.
He is survived by his father, Edgar Reyes, his mother, Natalie Cook, his step-mother, Ariana
Alcalde, his brother, Edgar Reyes, his brother, Jeremy Reyes, his brother Jovanni Reyes, his
sister, Elizabeth Rivera, his aunt, Nelida Aguirre, his uncle, Donald Cook, his uncle Alex
Rodriguez, his uncle Gustavo Reyes, his uncle, Alfonso Ramirez, his aunt, Myriam Porras, his
aunt, Esmeralda Ramirez, his aunt, Erika Porras, his grandmother, Maria Porras, his nephew,
Ethan Reyes, his niece, Khloe Reyes, and his niece Heaven Santiago.
He also leaves behind many cousins and friends; too many to list, but please rest assured that you
are all truly acknowledged.
When you are feeling sad and missing him, always remember his favorite saying, "I Love You".
He will forever be in our hearts and memories. This isn't a goodbye, this is a see you later!
"He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be
mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away."
Revelation 21:4
