Nicholas Veselenak Obituary
Born on October 29, 1953 in Detroit, Michigan. Nicholas was the son of the late Michael Veselenak and late Joan Veselenak Caramagno.
Nicholas was a long time resident of Hamtramck a community he loved. Nicholas who went by the nickname of "Casper" was known for his acts of kindness to other residents and taking care of dozens of feral cats in his neighborhood.
In 2013, HCAT, the Hamtramck Cat Assistance Team, dedicated it's yearly fundraiser in honor of Nick.
He is survived by his brothers John Veselenak, Paul Veselenak, Matt Caramagno, and many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation on December 9th from 12 pm until service time at 2 pm at Wm. Sullivan & Sons in Royal Oak (705 W Eleven Mile Road Royal Oak, MI 48067). The service will be followed with a procession to Oakview Cemetery at 1032 N Main Street, Royal Oak, MI 48067.
