Diane LaBuda

Diane Marie LaBuda (née Laginess), a cherished resident of Royal Oak, passed away on Friday, December 5, 2025, at the age of 59, surrounded by her family.

Diane was a devoted wife to Brian LaBuda, whom she married on August 28, 1992, and a proud, loving mother to their children, Dana LaBuda and Anthony LaBuda. She was the beloved daughter of the late Kathleen Laginess, Ernest Laginess, and Anne Laginess, and a caring sister to Susanne Fox and Michelle Ohneck.

Born on April 6, 1966, in Dearborn, Michigan, Diane was raised in Allen Park and graduated from Cabrini High School. She went on to earn her bachelor's degree from Oakland University and built a career in marketing and real estate.

Above all, Diane dedicated her life to her family. She was a nurturing, supportive mother who treasured every moment spent together and taught her children the lasting importance of kindness and integrity. Her warmth, humor, and unwavering love will be forever remembered by all who knew her.

A Visitation for Diane will be held on Wednesday, December 10, 2025 from 2:00 pm until time of Scripture Service at 6:00 pm at Wm. Sullivan and Son Funeral Directors, 705 W. Eleven Mile Rd. (4 blks. E. of Woodward), Royal Oak, 48067. Diane will lie in state on Thursday, December 11, 2025, from 11:30 am until time of Funeral Mass at 12:00 pm at National Shrine of the Little Flower Basilica, 2100 W. 12 Mile Rd., Royal Oak, 48073.
