Joseph Charles Pilette

Joseph C. Pilette, age 74, of Madison Heights, passed away peacefully on December 3, 2025, at Heart-to-Heart Hospice in Troy. He was born on February 24, 1951, in Detroit, Michigan, to the late Earl and Martha Pilette.

Joseph was a graduate of Bishop Foley High School, class of 1969. He was a loving father, brother, uncle, and great-uncle who found his greatest joy in time spent with family and friends. He loved fishing, relaxing at the lake, and spending time "up north." His laughter, stories, and kind heart will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Joseph was previously married to Deborah on May 8, 1976, at Franklin Community Church.

He is survived by his daughters, Jacqueline Pilette of Pellston, Michigan, and Nicole Safin (Benjamin) Safin of Fayetteville, Georgia. He is also survived by his sisters Mary (Richard) Arnold, Ann (Terry) Herron, Cathy (Ron) Yoder, and Elizabeth (Mike) Emery. He was preceded in death by his brother Thomas (Carol) Pilette, and sister Judith Pilette.

A visitation will be held for Joseph on December 9th from 3-8 pm at Wm. Sullivan and Son Funeral Home in Royal Oak, MI (705 W Eleven Mile Road, Royal Oak, MI 48067) . Joseph will be laid instate on December 10th at 10:30 am at Guardian Angels Church in Clawson, MI (581 E 14 Mile Rd, Clawson, MI 48017), until a funeral mass at 11:00 am.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Solanus Casey Center in Joseph's honor.
