Nicholas Anthony Dalba

Nicholas Anthony Dalba, age 82, of Canton, Georgia, passed away on July 13th, 2025, with his wife, Sharon, at his side. He went peacefully. Born in St. Louis, Missouri, to Anthony and Margaret Dalba on February 11th, 1943. He attended Bishop DuBourg High School, and received a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Washington University. He went to work for Anheuser-Busch in the Corporate Engineering Department upon graduating. It was there he met Sharon Heitmann, and they were married May 27th, 1967. His career culminated as the Plant Manager of the Cartersville brewery in Georgia, working for Anheuser-Busch for 32 years, when he retired at the age of 55. He was a lifelong collector of Lionel Trains, a Sci-fi aficionado, and an Atlanta Braves fan. He dedicated several years in retirement to helping his local parish, Our Lady of the Mountains, grow and become a flourishing parish. Nick was a dedicated family man, a great leader, and a service to his community. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Sharon Dalba, his son, Nicholas Dalba, Jr, his daughter, Angela Campbell, his granddaughter, Emerson Dalba, and his brother, Anthony Dalba. The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 20, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held Monday, July 21, 2025, at 3:00 PM at Our Lady of the Mountains Roman Catholic Church, with a reception afterward at the church.
