Beloved husband of Miriam. Loving father of Matina (Timothy ) Devine, Michelle (Bryan) Wessel and the late Mary Kristine Kotsonas. Dearest grandfather of Shane Devine, Noah Devine, Colin Devine, Andrew Wessel, Masen Wessel and Carter Wessel.
Cremation will take place at The On-Site Crematory, located within Molnar Funeral Homes - Brownstown Chapel.
Nickolas Harry Kotsonas, known to many as Nick, passed away on March 23, 2024, at the age of 73 in Trenton, MI. Nick was born on May 16, 1950, in Detroit, Michigan, USA.
Nick was a proud U.S. Navy veteran, having served from 1969 to 1971 and as a Vietnam War veteran. His dedication to service extended beyond the military as he also served as a Detroit Police reserve and a Huron Township police reserve. Nick's commitment to duty was evident in every aspect of his life.
In his professional life, Nick wore many hats. He was the owner and baker at Stemma Bakery, showcasing his culinary skills. Additionally, he worked as a conductor for Norfolk Southern Railroad, where he demonstrated his precision and attention to detail.
Those who knew Nick understood his passion and love for toys, Legos, movies, Harley Davidson, cars / hot rods, and music - especially Elvis Presley. His love for these hobbies brought joy to his life and those around him. Nick's interests reflected his vibrant personality and creative spirit.
Nick is survived by his beloved wife, Miriam, his daughters Matina M. Devine (husband Tim) and Michelle M. Wessel (husband Bryan), as well as his grandchildren Shane, Noah, Andrew, Masen, Colin, and Carter. He was preceded in death by his daughter Mary K. Kotsonas.
Nickolas Harry Kotsonas will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him. His legacy of dedication, passion, and love for life will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to have crossed paths with him.
