William C. Kotsonas (Chuck) of Gardner passed away on August 6th surrounded by loving family at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston after a strong battle with cancer.

He was born in Lowell on February 16, 1963, and was the son of the late James N. and Georgia (Wourgiotis) Kotsonas.

William graduated from Lowell High School in 1981 and went on to be a successful painter and business owner for over 30 years.

He was a loving son, brother, father and grandfather. He loved spending time with family and friends, going to the beach, riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, going to casinos, traveling, going out to listen to live music on the weekends, spending time at motorcycle and car shows, and going out for dinner (especially pizza!)

William is survived by his two daughters, Katelyn Nieves and her husband Hector Nieves of Saint Marys, GA and Ashley Kotsonas and her partner Evelyn Beltron of Lowell; his sister Elaine Molleur and her husband Claude Molleur of West Brookfield; his four grandchildren, Michael, Mariah, Jaythan and Nya; his former wife and mother of his children, Susan Kotsonas; his loving fiance of 8 years, Deborah Lane and her daughter Cecelia; two nieces, Katie Molleur and Rebecca Caruso; two nephews, James Kotsonas and Mike Caruso; 2 great nephews, 6 great nieces, and many great new and longtime friends.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother Nicholas Kotsonas, his sister Frances Mills, and a niece, Shelley Molleur.

Visiting hours will be held on Monday, August 11, 2025, from 4:00 pm -7:00 pm at DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Avenue, DRACUT. His funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at 11:00 am at Assumption of the Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church, 1160 Mammoth Road, DRACUT. Interment will follow in Westlawn Cemetery, LOWELL.
