Nicola Jaqueen Lockhart, born on April 30, 1993, in Washington, GA, suddenly passed away on September 19, 2023, in Decatur, GA. She was taken from us far too soon at an early age. Nicola's untimely death has left a deep void in the hearts of her family and friends.
Throughout her life, Nicola brought profound joy and love to those fortunate enough to know her. Her kind and gentle nature touched the lives of many. She will always be remembered for her bright smile, infectious laughter, and compassionate heart.
Nicola was preceded in death by her daughter, Skylar Lockhart, her father, Calvin Norman, Sr. , and her brother, Sylvester Willingham, Jr.
Nicola leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish her memory. She is survived by her children: Nicii Jeremy Lockhart, Lazzaria Brianna Nicola Batten, Edna Nicola Mae Batten, and Alanna Dior Mae Lockhart. Her mother, Maria "Red" Lockhart; Nicola's siblings include Nikela Jasmine Lockhart, Naudia Che'lina Norman, Carrisa Willingham, Lakesia Lockhart, Layonna Lockhart, Alma Lockhart, Nico Lockhart, Gerald Lockhart, Shawn Harris, Aiden Harris, and Calvin Lamar Norman Jr.
Though Nicola's time with us was cut short unexpectedly, we can find solace in knowing that she lived her life to the fullest during the time she graced this world with her presence. She made lasting connections with those around her and left an indelible mark on their hearts.
During this difficult time of mourning and remembrance, the family would appreciate the love and support of her friends and community. Let us come together to celebrate the remarkable life of Nicola Jaqueen Lockhart, a beloved daughter, sister, mother, and friend. May her spirit live on in the hearts of those who were touched by her presence.
Nicola Jaqueen Lockhart will forever be remembered as a beacon of light and love. Her memory will continue to inspire and guide those who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in eternal peace.
