Nicolas Ramon Ramirez Jr.

Nicolas Ramon Ramirez Jr., known affectionately as Nick by his friends and family, passed away peacefully on February 20, 2025, at the age of 87. Born on May 25, 1937, in Corpus Christi, TX, Nick was a man of warmth, humor, and song, whose presence could light up any room.
Nick was preceded in death by his loving parents, Nicolas Ramirez Sr. and Hortencia Ramirez, as well as his cherished son, Raul Ramirez. He leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter, embodied by his devoted wife, Dominga Ramirez, with whom he shared countless duets in their favorite pastime of singing Karaoke. His stepsons, Rafael Pena and David Pena (Erica) will carry forward his spirit of kindness and generosity. Nick's joy was multiplied by the presence of his granddaughter, Kendra Marie Pena, who was the apple of his eye.
Throughout his life, Nick was a beacon of light and love to all who knew him. His voice, often raised in song alongside Dominga, will be remembered for its warmth and sincerity. Nick's passion for music and his ability to connect with others through melody was a gift that he generously shared, creating lasting memories at family gatherings and community events.
As we bid farewell to Nick, we celebrate a life well-lived full of moments that touched the hearts of many. His legacy will continue to resonate through the lives of his family and the many friends who were blessed to know him. Nick's memory will be cherished and kept alive through the stories, songs, and love he left behind.
Nick's family will receive condolences Saturday, March 1, 2025, at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St., from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM. Services will conclude in the chapel that afternoon.
