Nicole Marie Harrell, 39, of Lynn, Massachusetts, was a beautiful soul radiating love, light, and an unshakable strength. To know Nicole was to be touched by her kindness, her genuine heart, and a presence so vibrant it could never be forgotten.
Born to Kathleen Thomas and Rodney Harrell, Nicole was a daughter who carried their love and pride in everything she did. Above all, she was a devoted mother. Her children-Na'Ryeya Tyler, Terrence Tyler, and Jacole Thurston were her world, her pride, her joy, and her greatest accomplishment. She was their QUEEN, their protector, and their fiercest supporter. Nicole is THE GOAT!
Nicole's love extended far beyond her role as a mother. She was a cherished sister to Mark Thomas, Melissa "Sissy" Thomas, Keon Dow, his wife Samantha Harrie, and her little sister Keyana Dow. She was a proud auntie to nieces Shae Gerald, Shylah Gerald, Shaliyah Thomas, Marissa Thomas, Kaliana Dow, Kelis Gonzalez, and Kenzi Gonzalez. nephews Tre Thomas, Romeo Thomas, Keon Dow Jr., Autumn Thomas, and great-nephews Novian Thomas and Fernando Gonzalez; Godsons Boris Theodore & Javien Baynes, Late grandmother, Oppie Virginia Harrell and late grandmother, Patricia Hill, as well as several aunts and uncles. Her family was her foundation, and she loved each member with unwavering devotion.
Nicole was the keeper of memories; always with a phone in hand, capturing not just her own life but the lives of everyone she loved. She had a passion for food: cooking it, sharing it, and enjoying it with her people. She made those around her feel safe, protected, and deeply loved. Nicole spoke her truth with honesty, and no matter what she said, it was sealed with a kiss or a hug, a reminder that it all came from love. She was forgiving to the core, and with her, it was always love.
Her heart was bigger than most could imagine, and she showed up for everyone, no matter the circumstances. Nicole was the life of the party her energy lit up any room she entered, and every gathering felt complete only when she was there. Her voice, loud and unmistakable, could be heard before she was seen, and now, in her absence, the silence feels unbearable. The entire city of Lynn mourns her loss, and the quiet without her is deafening.
Nicole leaves behind her children, her parents, her siblings, her nieces and nephews, and countless friends who will carry her spirit forward keeping her light alive in every story, every laugh, every tear, and every memory. She will forever be loved, forever be missed, and forever be ours.
Visitation for Nicole will be held on Sunday August 10, 2025 from 4-8pm at Solimine Funeral Home 67 Ocean St. (Rt1a) Lynn. A service will be held at the funeral home on Monday August 11 at 11AM followed by burial at Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.
