Nigel was presently employed as a customer service representative for United Airlines, driven by his enthusiasm for the company and aspiring to become a flight attendant. Regrettably, his aspirations were cut short due to illness.
In addition to his loving mother, Beverly, Nigel is also survived by his beloved and dedicated spouse of seven years, Joseph Peter Alonso, with whom he exchanged vows on December 29, 2017; as well as his dear sister, Carolyne.
Private funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home, 205 South Main Street, Manville, NJ 08835.

Nigel. It was a pleasure working with you. I can't believe that you were gone so fast! My heart is broken. You always made me laugh! I felt comfortable around you, and we shared secrets.... My heart also hurts for your Husband, and your sweet baby dog, Dino. I know how much you loved that dog! I still have the sesame oil that I bought you, to make egg drop soup. I never got to give it to you. Today would have been your 53rd Birthday! Damn it! Life isn't fair. Only the good die young! :-( Miss you more than you know. I tell myself that you are in a better place.... Rest easy love...
