Nigel MIiles Obituary
Obituary published on Legacy.com by Mountcastle Turch Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. - Dale City on May 19, 2025.
Nigel was a kind and caring young man, who always greeted you with a smile. His determination to have a relationship with God, grow spiritually, achieve independence, and to put himself in a position to succeed led to his decision to join Ebenezer Baptist Church. He was open to listening and absorbing the advice provided by family, friends, and the Ebenezer Church family.
Nigel passed away on May 12, 2025, at the age of 27. He was born on January 2, 1998, to Mary (Tina) Grice & Carl Edward Miles, Sr. He accepted Christ in July 2024, under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Charles A. Lundy. Although his time at Ebenezer Baptist Church was short, he found a new life full of love, inspiration, and a desire to be a fully devoted follower of Jesus Christ. His calm demeanor and infectious smile stand out among family and friends and touched our hearts in many ways.
Nigel loved dining out, photography, designing t-shirts, video games, his new car, nature, being by water, spending time with family and friends, traveling, and aspired to be a TSA agent. It brought joy to his heart to be an inspiration to others. Nigel often donated to the homeless and those in need whether he could afford to or not. He felt that God would make provisions for him. Nigel adored his nieces, and they loved him dearly. He was the greatest uncle that any niece could ask for. He possessed a strong sibling bond and motivation to excel and support his family, particularly his mother. Nigel was the fruit of the spirit; he was loving, grateful, kind, peaceful, and joyful. He received and reciprocated love to his family, friends, and others. Nigel was grateful for the love, guidance and support provided by Harold "D" Thompson. Nigel received his elementary and secondary education from Dr. Henry A. Wise, Jr. High School graduating in 2016.
Nigel leaves to celebrate his life, his mother, Mary "Tina" Grice; his father, Carl Miles; his sisters, Jessica Grice (Ahmiyah and Adrielle), Destiny Miles, Carena Miles, Carlisa Miles; his brothers Carl Miles, Jr., his grandmothers, Minnie Grice and Lizzy Miles; his grandfather, Robert Miles; his aunts, Gwendolyn Bunch, Joan Grice, Karen Grice, Debra Barrow (Robert), Cathy Grice, Gloria Miles, Tanjier and Tammey Miles.
