Nigel Priesman passed away peacefully on December 31, 2025, surrounded by an overwhelming outpouring of love from family, lifelong friends, and fellow Marines who traveled from all across the United States to be by his side. He was 47 years old.

Born on May 15, 1978, Nigel lived a life defined by service, strength, loyalty, and unwavering love for those around him. He proudly served 22 years in the United States Marine Corps, dedicating his life to something greater than himself. Being a Marine was not just a career for Nigel, it was who he was. He carried the values of honor, courage, and commitment into every chapter of his life, long after his service ended.

Nigel was a fighter in every sense of the word. In his final days, he showed the same courage and selflessness that defined his life. He held on, not out of fear, but out of love, waiting patiently for the people he cared about to arrive, say goodbye, and share one last moment. Only after everyone had their chance did he finally allow himself to rest, moving on peacefully to a better place.

To those who knew him, Nigel was a protector, a leader, and a steady presence. He had a way of making people feel safe, heard, and valued. His strength was matched only by his heart, and sense of humor. He was deeply loved, deeply respected, and will be deeply missed.

Nigel leaves behind a family forever changed by his absence but strengthened by his example. His legacy lives on through the lives he touched, the Marines he stood beside, and the love he gave so freely. Though his time on earth has ended, his spirit, and memory will continue to guide those who loved him.
