Nina Louise Reams, 98, of Oakland, MD, Swallow Falls, passed away on August, 13, 2023, at Peace Healthcare Dennett Road Manor in Oakland. Born on August 7, 1925, in Sines, MD, she was the daughter of the late Newton and Daisy (Hauger) Reams.
Nina was a graduate of Oakland High School. She loved flowers and worked for several years at Jan's Florist in Oakland. She was the oldest living member and ladies aid of Pine Grove Church of the Brethren Nina also enjoyed bingo and being surrounded by all her family.
She is survived by her children, Saundra Kolb and husband Paul, Gerald "Jerry" Reams Jr. and wife Darlene, and Connie Reams and wife Debbie Stilwell; seven grandchildren, Rick Kolb and wife Jana, Sherry Nazelrod and husband Mike, Allen Reams, Brian Reams and wife Stacy, Jenny Harsh and husband Mark, Brittney Resh and husband Nathan, and Kenny Reams; eight great-grandchildren, Garrett Kolb, Hunter Nazelrod, Jacob Nazelrod, Bailey Morris, Allison Morris, Kendra Reams, Abbi Harsh, and Hailey Harsh; a daughter-in-law, Marla Reams; a brother-in-law, Ralph Reams and wife Sheila; and her beloved grand-pup, Lily.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald "Jud" Reams; two sons, Douglas Reams and Kenneth Reams; two brothers, Harland Reams and Hugh Reams; and four sisters, Hollice Sanders, Audra Hinebaugh, Una George, and Adra Hinebaugh.
Friends will be received on Wednesday, August 16, 2023, from 4 to 7 PM at the C &S Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N 2nd St., Oakland. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, August 17, 2023, at Pine Grove Church of the Brethren, located at 5792 Oakland Sang Run Rd, Oakland, MD, with Pastors Garry Clem and Brian Coffman officiating. Interment will follow in the Taylor Sines Cemetery.
