She joined in matrimony to the late Bolie Stringfield Jr. on May 27, 1970. Where they shared 4 children. Renee King (Marvin) of Waverly, VA, Jackie Crockett of Courtland, VA, Carolyn Stringfield(Tyrone) of Ivor, VA and Terry Stringfield(KeKe) of WIlliamsburg, VA.
She is preceded in death by her parents Morris and Annie Hartsfield, 1 beloved grandson Montrail Stringfield, 1 sister Helen Hartsfield and 3 brothers Cliffton, Clifford and Jerald Hartsfield.
Left to cherish her memories are 12 grandchildren, 26 great grands, 1 sister Annie M. Hartsfield of Wakefield, VA, 3 brothers Edward C. Hartsfield of Newport News, VA, Ronnie A. Hartsfield(Margret) of Central Hill, VA and William G. Hartsfield of North Carolina, 2 devoted nieces Joyce Harris & Terneria Hartsfield and nephew Michael Hartsfield, 6 devoted grandchildren Ariana, A'Miyah, Ava, Amon, Amar'E, and Amir Stringfield, 6 brother in laws, 2 sister in laws, devoted friends Kiara Bailey and Diane Sumler, host of nieces & nephews. Special thanks to Lake Taylor Care Hospital staff.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1pm, Saturday, January 25th, 2025 at the Pocahontas Temple Baptist Church, 10234 Branch Street, Wakefield, VA, with the Pastor, Bishop Lewis Allen, officiating. Interment will follow in Booker T. Memorial Park, Wakefield. Public visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.
