family by her side. She was born in Hobbs, New Mexico on April 24, 1943, to her parents Wayne M.
Nix and Natalie R. Hambrick.
She was a Veteran of the United States Navy and retired as an Executive Assistant at Governor's
Square Mall. Nikki (as we all knew her) loved traveling the world, plants of all kinds and working
in her garden, animals of every shape and size, and helping people.
She is survived by her loving family, husband Frank P. Young, sons Patrick M. Hill and Chris W. Hill (Melinda); Grandchildren Matthew and Sean Hill; Great Grandchildren Harper and Nova Tripp,
Sebastian Hill and one on the way Lila Rose Hill; and Nephew Frederick T. Sanders II.
She is preceded in death by her parents and siblings.
Services are pending at this time. A celebration of life is being planned for next Spring.
Dayne Parker of Bevis Funeral Home (850-385-2193 or www.bevisfh.com) is assisting the family
with their arrangements.
