PORT BARRE- A Funeral Service will be held for Noah Joseph Ducote on Friday, June 27, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. in the First Baptist Church of Port Barre. Pastor Benji Richard will conduct the service. Burial will follow at the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Port Barre.
Noah Joseph Ducote, born on August 23, 2005, in Crestview, Florida, entered into eternal rest on June 24, 2025. He was a beloved son, brother and friend, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many during his short time with us.
Noah attended Westminster Christian Academy and later Opelousas Catholic. Known for his kindness and infectious enthusiasm, Noah made lasting connections with his peers, bringing laughter and joy to every gathering.
Outside of his academic pursuits, Noah indulged in his love for the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, often spending weekends in the company of friends. A fitness enthusiast, he frequently visited the gym, where he sought to challenge himself and inspire those around him to lead active lifestyles. Additionally, Noah had a talent for playing pool, skillfully engaging in friendly competition with his companions.
He is survived by his parents, Gerald and Stacey Galloway Ducote; sister, Alexa Ducote; brothers, Tyce and Tristan Bourque; grandparents, Ramona and Kirt Rodriguez; aunts and uncles, Chelsea Rodriguez, Blake Rodriguez, Jamy & Jason Lanclos; and his beloved dog, Bella.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Laura and Willie Galloway; and uncles, Jason and Gerald Ducote.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 26, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. in Sibille Funeral Home in Port Barre. Visitation will resume on Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 10:15 a.m. in the funeral home.
Noah's spirit and zest for life will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy of friendship, laughter, and adventure will live on in the hearts of those he leaves behind.
