INDIANAPOLIS – Noah Mollett, age 99, passed away at 12:50 AM on Tuesday, May 16, 2022 at his home in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was born on March 6, 1923 to the late Albert and Janie (Pack) Mollett in Tomahawk, KY.
Mr. Mollett was united in marriage to Lillie (Wells) Mollett on October 27, 1950 and recently celebrated their 71st wedding anniversary. Noah work as a machinist at American Bearing for many years.
Mr. Mollett served our country as a Technical Sergeant in the United States Army during World War ll. He received 2 bronze stars in the Asiatic Pacific Theater, a Liberation Ribbon with 1 Bronze Star, a Distinguished Unit Badge, a Bronze Arrowhead World War ll Victory Medal and a Purple Heart Medal. Mr. Mollett loved fishing and bowling, gardening and hiking.
Noah is survived by her loving wife Lillie ; son, Gary Mollett (wife Kim), daughter Pam Lowe (husband Mark), sister Solva Page, brother Paul Mollett, four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Noah was preceded in death by his sisters, Nevilee Smith, Zelda Tennyson, Juanita McIntosh, and brothers, Earl Mollett and Albert Mollett Jr.
Visitation will take place from 4:00 to 8:00 PM on Monday, May 23, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 925 East Hanna Avenue, Indianapolis, Indiana 46227. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 24 at 11:00 AM at Newcomer with Pastor Robert Young officiating, followed by a graveside service at Forest Lawn Cemetery In Greenwood, IN.
Memorial contributions may be made to Fountain Square Church of Christ.
