Noah James Scribner returned home to his Heavenly Father just nine days before his 18th birthday, on May 12th, 2025. Noah had attended his Senior prom two nights earlier, and spent Mother's Day with his family before being involved in a sudden and tragic accident the following day.
Noah was born in Orem, Utah on May 21st, 2007. Everyone he knew was blessed for his association with them. He had an infectious smile, a tender heart, and a laugh that was almost impossible not to join in with. He was dedicated to the people and things he loved.
Noah spent the majority of his life as a competitive ballroom dancer. Everyone who danced with him knew Noah as a hardworking and determined dancer who was willing to put in the hours to succeed. He was exceptional at supporting and lifting up his teammates.
Noah's other love was anything with an engine, especially performance engines. He had an obsession with Ford Mustangs, and put lots of time and work into fixing up his own. He was working as a mechanic, and took a lot of pride in the skills he was gaining. Motorcycles fascinated Noah, and he was never happier than when he was riding with his dad, brothers, and Nona.
Noah was incredibly well-rounded, and willing to try anything including rock climbing, snow and water skiing, card games, video games, and watching shows and movies with his family. He had recently been binge watching the 80s classic, Full House.
Noah was passionate about music, and feeling the bass in the sound system in his Mustang. He even built himself an electric guitar and enjoyed playing it.
He loved working with his hands and building models. He also had a lifelong love for Transformers and could always be found planning the next Transformer to add to his growing collection. He could often be found watching a Transformers movie while "transforming" one of his models.
Noah was ambitious and anxious to prove himself, and he was driven to be the best at everything he did. He never liked doing any of this on his own, and always tried to have these experiences with those he loved.
Noah was set to graduate from Timpanogos High School only eleven days after his accident, and he had put in all the work to achieve that accomplishment. He loved his friends with all his heart and wanted to support them and be with them always, no matter what they were doing.
Noah had also received a call to serve as a full-time missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in the Honduras, San Pedro Sula Mission, and was planning to begin his service in August of 2025.
He was so excited to follow the example of each of his older siblings and serve his Savior! He had a special relationship with each of them, and wanted to emulate them. His sister Gracie is currently serving in the Puerto Rico San Juan mission, and he was so proud to tell her about his decision to serve.
Noah's passing leaves a gaping and obvious hole in the lives of his family and friends, but we know that through Jesus Christ and his Atonement that we will see him again, which brings us comfort. Noah also had a testimony of Jesus Christ.
Noah is survived by his father and mother, Scott and Jenny Scribner, siblings: Joshua (married to Kelsey), Matthew, Aaron (married to Sofia), and Grace; nieces and nephew: Emma, Lucas, and Amelia; Grandparents: Martha and Dennis Harrison, Ken and Terri Wilks, and Cecile and Charlie Thompson; and a tight-knit group of aunts, uncles, and cousins who loved him deeply. He was greeted on the other side of the veil by his grandfather, Douglas Scribner.

There will be a viewing on Monday, May 19, 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Nelson Family Mortuary, 4780 N University Ave, Provo.
