Noel D Moore

Noel D. Moore, age 79 of Harned, KY passed away October 8, 2025, at his residence. He was born in Breckinridge County on February 22, 1946, son of the late Raymond and Dora Ruth Odom Moore. Noel was a farmer and logger. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and a member of Mt. Zion Community Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and tending to his cattle. Noel was a good man with a big heart. He was eager to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He loved his family and friends and looked forward to gatherings with them.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Mary Moore and his brother Harold Ray Moore.
Noel is survived by 2 sons: Kevin Dale Moore (Lisa) and Brian Scott Moore (Angela) of Harned, KY
7 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
1 sister: Nona Lawson of Guston, KY
Several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at Mt. Zion Community Church on Monday, October 13, 2025, at 11 AM. Burial with military honors will be in the Harned Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Sunday, October 12, 2025, from 1 – 5 PM and Monday, 8:30 – 10:30 AM Monday. All times are central.
