Noemi Robles Vargas

Noemi Robles Vargas, 58, of Waelder, Texas, passed away peacefully on November 15, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born on May 21, 1967, in Taylor, Texas, Noemi was the cherished daughter of Abel Robles Sr. and the late Delfina Robles.
A devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend, Noemi built a life filled with love, laughter, and hard work. She spent many years working in several trades, known for her dedication and strong work ethic, before retiring to enjoy the things she loved most-her home, her kitchen, and her family. Married for 35 years to her beloved husband, the late Valente Vargas, and at times, traveled with him for work, creating lifelong memories along the way. Together they built a life rooted in love, laughter, and family. Her proudest accomplishment was raising her three children-Celeste, Joshua, and Theodor-whom she adored and guided with unwavering strength and humor.
Noemi's warm heart and love for family shone brightest in her kitchen, where her hospitality and cooking drew everyone together. Known for her humor, kindness, and welcoming spirit, Noemi had a way of making everyone feel at home. She could often be found tending her garden, cheering passionately for her beloved Dallas Cowboys, or enjoying a good movie. Her energy, wit, and caring heart left an impression on everyone who knew her.
Noemi is survived by her children Celeste, Joshua, and Theodor Vargas; her father, Abel Robles Sr.; and her many brothers and sisters: Richard and Josie Robles, Armando Robles, Anita Ortiz, Esther Robles, Eva Robles, Ninfa and Norman Olmstead, Adelita and Daniel Martinez, Celestino and Gloria Robles, Ronnie Robles, and Reynaldo Robles, and numerous nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her husband, Valente Vargas; her mother, Delfina Robles; her siblings Erminia Luna, Abel Robles Jr., and Arturo Robles.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 19, at Seydler Hill Funeral Home in Gonzales, Texas. Private family visitation will be from 9–10 a.m., public visitation from 10–11 a.m., followed by the funeral service at 11 a.m. A procession will follow to Iglesia Bautista Cemetery in Waelder for burial, with fellowship afterward at the Waelder Community Center.
