NONA HATFIELD Obituary

Nona Marie Partin Hatfield, age 102, of Frakes, Kentucky went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, November 19, 2025.

She was born on July 23, 1923 to the late Elam Partin and Dora Belle Mason Partin.

She was a faithful member of the New Vine Missionary Baptist Church. She saw beauty in everything around her. The greatest gift she ever received was when the Lord saved her soul and her wish was to see her family saved.

She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a homemaker and a crafts woman who provided many different crafts for the Henderson Settlement Craft Store. She was the caregiver for many of her family members and helped with anyone in the community who needed her.

In addition, her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Dewey "Pejib" Hatfield, son Willie Gene Hatfield, sisters, Edna, Ada, Ange, Mossie, Woodie, Sara Elsie, and Senia, brothers, Estil, Chester, and J.E.

Nona is survived by her daughters, Anna Fay Miracle, Judy (Sam) Partin, Vanessa (Rickie) Dixon, Clara Sue (Phillip) Miracle, daughter-in-law Sara Lou Hatfield, all of Frakes, Kentucky, 24 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, 19 great-great-grandchildren, 10 great-great-great- grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews that were all a blessing to her.

The Hatfield Family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 21, 2025 at New Vine Missionary Baptist Church in Frakes, Kentucky.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. at New Vine Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Lee Mahan and Rev. Scott Collett presiding. Music will be provided by the New Vine Missionary Baptist Church Choir and Barry Barton.

Interment will follow in the New Vine Cemetery with her grandsons and great-grandson serving as pall bearers.
