Nora Bain Obituary

TRION — Nora Mae Bain, 87, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, Oct. 24, 2016. She had lived in the Chattanooga and North Georgia areas for most of her life and was a member of Parkway Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Luther and Mammie; two sisters; one brother and her husband, Johnie Washington Bain. Survivors include some of her family members, Johnie and Mary Bain and Dylan and Abby Burnett, of Chickamauga, Ga., Tommy Bain, of LaFayette, Ga., Silas Bain, of Atlanta, Ga., Joylun Harrison, of Arkansas, Wilma Dunn, of Rock Spring, Ga., Grace Powell, of Chattanooga, Ella Chambers, of South Carolina, and Martha Bain, of Sevierville, Tenn.; sister and brother-in-law, Glenda and Scott Ledford, of Cleveland, Tenn.; eight grandchildren; several great grandchildren and numerous extended family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. today, in the Fort Oglethorpe Chapel, with Pastor Todd Flanagan officiating. The family will receive friends from 3 to 6 p.m., today, at the funeral home. Graveside services will be held at noon EST on Thursday, Oct. 27, 2016, in the Bethlehem Cemetery in McMinnville, Tenn. Online guest book at www.wilsonfuneralhome.com. Arrangements by W. L.
