Loving Daughter and Princess, Nora McConathy, will be remembered with love and happiness.
Nora earned her Angel wings on February 19th, 2022, at 1240 am after a courageous 4-month battle with brain cancer. She was surrounded by her loved ones until her last breath.
Nora loved to smile, laugh and was happy up to the end where she still reminds those closest to her, that even in our darkest times we can find peace, love and laughter. We will always remember the hours, seconds and minutes that we enjoyed with her, as she not only lit up our hearts but those that met her with a simple wave or playful gesture. She loved sloths, balls, anything shiny, xylophones and plugs.
Nora is survived by Tiffany and Jeremy McConathy (Parents), and Zane (Big brother), Uncle Jesse and Lynn McConathy, Aunt Emma McConathy, Grandparents Tammy Long, Nolen and Ana Long, Marcia and Daniel Mitchell, and Jimmy and Elnara McConathy and a host of extended family.
We were loved and supported through this journey by multiple family members and friends, the staff at ACH 4K Oncology Unit (especially Autumn, Rachel and Mohini), Dr. Bielamowicz and Lora, RN, Dr. Beth Littrell, Dr. Modi and Traci, RN, Shari Eickmeyer, and Amber Davidson as well as the over twelve thousand people that followed her step-by-step through her journey with ETMR.
We love you so much little lady and we know you are up there making big laughs and smiles with PawPaw and Nanny beggs. We can't wait to see you again.
Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, February 25th at New Life Church in Hot Springs.
A celebration of Nora's life will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 26th at New Life Church with Pastor Cory Cangelosi officiating.
All services are open to the public.
