Noreene H. Rack

Noreene H. Rack, age 88, of Rahway, passed away peacefully at home, on Tuesday January 28, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
She was a lifetime resident of Rahway, NJ. She was a member of Rahway Junior Service League and was often seen on the grounds of Merchants and Drovers. In her earlier years she worked for PSE&G and then retired from American Insurance Services Group.
Noreene was a very strong-willed and compassionate woman who was devoted to her Catholic faith. She was a member of St. Agnes Roman Catholic Church in Clark, NJ.
During her lifetime she enjoyed spending summers at the beach in LBI with her family and friends, vacationed in Florida, and enjoyed cruises from Alaksa to the Caribbean.
Her favorite activity was playing cards weekly with her girlfriends, having visits from her grandchildren and great grandchildren, enjoyed dining at local restaurants and was an active member of her community.
She is leaving behind her beloved husband William Rack of 70 years from Rahway, NJ.
Predeceased by her dear son William Rack, (Billy) & her brother David Bendy of Culver, Indiana & his wife Sue.
Noreene is survived by her children, Linda Ward, Steven Rack & wife Jessie. Her grandchildren, & great grandchildren, Ashley Ward & her husband Eric Proctor, (Kaelyn, Charlotte, & Samantha.) Andrea Policastro & husband George (Walter), Joe Ward (Addison) & Jessica Scuorzo & husband Nick (Easton & Ridge).
A visitation will be held from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, January 31, 2025, at The Lehrer Gibilisco Funeral Home located at 275 West Milton Ave. in Rahway, NJ 07065.
A Funeral Mass will begin at 11:00 am on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at St. Agnes Roman Catholic Church located at 332 Madison Hill Rd. in Clark, NJ 07066.
