Norma Louise Ballenger, 83, passed away on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, in Indianapolis, Indiana.
She was born on April 23, 1941 in Carter County, Kentucky, to the late Ora and Celia (Zornes) Masters.
After marrying her husband Omery Glen Ballanger, she then graduated from the House of James Beauty School. She started her career as a Beautician and continued for over 40 year. She was a avid bowler and many weeks she would bowl 6 days a week. She loved quilting, cooking, making pies and cookies and was a former member of the Warrington Free Will Baptist Church.
Norma is survived by her daughters; Donna Ballanger of Indianapolis, and Lisa (AJ) Smith of Danville; granddaughter, Jordan Smith and sister; June Steinly.
Norma is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Omery Glen Ballenger; eight siblings, brothers; Virgil, Jack, Art, Paul and Roger Masters, and sisters; Maxine Dummit, Virginia Kincaid and Nellie Howard.
A funeral service will be Monday, December 16, 2024 at 1:00 pm at Bozell Funeral Home, Condo Chapel in Wilkinson, Indiana. with Pastor Rick Evans officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 to 1:00 prior to the service. Burial will follow at McCray Cemetery in Wilkinson.
