Lajoie-Daigle Funeral Home - Fort KentNorma J (Ouellette) Bonenfant, age 74, passed away peacefully on March 22, 2026. Norma was predeceased by her parents, Leonide “Pete” and Valida (Bourgoin) Ouellette, husband Jean Guy Bonenfant, her daughter Angel Dionne Bonenfant, brothers Roger, Bertier and Carroll Ouellette, sister Viola (Ouellette) Ortiz and her best paw friend Biscuit.
Cherishing her memory forever in their hearts are her daughter Julie Albert and her husband Cory, their children Amber and Kody; her beloved grandson Kevin and his wife Samanta, their children Grayson and Asher along with treasured granddaughters Jasmine, Fantasia, and Jade. Norma cherished all her grandchildren and great grandchildren with all her heart.
Norma’s memories will also be carried through her siblings Nancy (Ouellette) Dubay and Gilmay (Ouellette) Power and her husband John. Norma enjoyed her time with her nieces and nephews – those near and far.
She will be remembered for her love of bingo, talking on the phone, spaghetti, graham cracker pie and whoopie pies. Norma had an unwavering devotion to her dog Biscuit, whom she adored as her baby. She found true joy in going for rides and her frequent visits to her sister Nancy.
Honoring her wishes, a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10am on July 17, 2026, at St. Louis Church in Fort Kent. Her final resting place will be at St. Louis Catholic Cemetery in Fort Kent, which will be held immediately following the Mass.
