Norma Jean Brack

Norma Jean Brack, 88 years old, of Farmington, New Mexico, passed away on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, in her home surrounded by her family. Norma was born to NB and Dovie Johnson on January 16, 1936, in Wewoka Oklahoma.
Norma became a part of the community of Farmington in 1957 when she moved with her family from Wewoka Oklahoma. She spent most of her career working in Student Support Services at San Juan College.
She spent some of her retirement years volunteering at San Juan Regional Medical Center in the giftshop. She was a member of Mountain Vista Baptist Church.
Norma enjoyed many hobbies. She did ceramics, sewing, quilting, and baking. She made dolls and gift baskets. She played the piano and volunteered at Church during vacation Bible study preparing meals for the children. Norma worked in her garden growing vegetables and flowers. She stayed busy doing all the things that she enjoyed.
Norma is preceded in death by her parents NB and Dovie Johnson, her sister and brother-in-law Peggy and Bob Easterling. Her sweet husband Roy Brack.
She is survived by her sons Steven Rose and Donald Rose and his wife Rebecca Rose. Two grandchildren Andromeda and Orion Rose. Her niece Jeanie Marsh and Nephew Dean Marsh. Three great nephews Christopher Marsh, Nicholas Marsh, and Shane Jurado.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 30, 2024, at Mountain Vista Baptist Church, 4401 Wildflower Drive, Farmington, New Mexico. Officiated by Associate Pastor Robert Sherman. Burial following services at Memory Gardens of Farmington, 6917 E. Main St.
A reception will be at 12pm at Mountain Vista Baptist Church.
