Norma Lee Cooling, 78, of Townsend, Delaware, passed away peacefully at home on November 3, 2025.
She was born on December 20, 1946, in Odessa, Delaware, to the late William and Mary Helen Coleman.
Norma was a woman full of life, laughter and love - the true life of every gathering she attended. Known for her contagious laughter, warm spirit, and quick wit. She had a comforting presence and a truthful heart that drew people to her wherever she went. For over 30 years, she worked as a talented beautician, making others feel confident and beautiful-both inside and out.
A lifetime member of the MOT VFW Ladies Auxiliary, Norma gave her time and love to her community. She had a zest for life and a collection of passions that brought her joy-traveling, dancing and listening to Elvis, collecting Santa Claus and Coca-Cola figures, as well as, cooking up her famous homemade meals.
Norma was preceded in death by her sister, Jane Hutchison, stepson, Greg Watts.
She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Harry Edward Watts; her son, Mark Wesley; and her stepdaughter, Kelly. She is also survived by her brothers Billy, Don, and Mark, her nephew Robby, and many beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will continue to carry her laughter and love forward.
A viewing will be held on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, from 11 -12 at Daniels & Hutchison Funeral Home, 212 N. Broad St., Middletown, DE, services will begin at 12 pm. Burial will follow in Old Drawyers Cemetery.
Norma will be remembered for the joy she brought to every room and the love she gave to everyone blessed to know her.
