Norma Jean "Janie" Endris

Norma Jean (Janie) Wolf Endris, 91, entered her Heavenly home on March 16, 2023, at The Beehive Assisted Living in Georgetown, IN. After a long illness, she is now in the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Norma was born May 28, 1931, in New Albany, IN to Freda Bertha Weber Wolf and Frank H. Wolf. Norma (Janie) was employed at Convair in San Diego, CA, where they manufactured the Spitfire Bomber that was used in the Korean War. She enjoyed traveling to various cities cheering on her beloved husband who was on The Navy Track team. She later followed her husband to Philadelphia, PA where she was employed by Graybar Electric as a secretary. Janie and Eugene were so treasured that they were both offered employment by Graybar in Louisville, KY. She was also an executive secretary at Kurfee's Paint Company in Louisville, KY.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Lawrence Wolf, brother Vernon Wolf and sister, Doris Wolf Elliott. Norma is survived by her loving husband, Eugene E. Endris, her daughter, Freda Endris Hadley of Pekin, IN and son, Frank (Maggie) Endris of Colorado Springs, CO. She is Meemee to Amberly Endris Burns, Christian Crider, Destinee Hobbs, Luke Endris, Adeline Endris, Seth Endris, and Daniel Endris. Norma was also the great grandmother to Caylie Gettelfinger, Bryson Crider, and Myla Crider. She was also the Godmother of her dear Marla J. Elliott Fogelman.
Norma (Janie) was not only a homemaker, but she also designed her lovely home. Her artistic and creative handiwork is seen throughout their beautiful home in New Albany. She loved sharing her home with family and friends by hosting holiday/birthday dinners, cousin luncheons and church dinners.
Norma (Janie) was confirmed at Saint Mark's Church of Christ and was a lifetime member of Jacob's Chapel United Methodist Church in New Albany, IN.
A funeral service will be held at 11am on Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at Naville & Seabrook Funeral Home on Oak Street in New Albany, IN. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 21, 2023, from 2-7pm and on Wednesday at 10am. Burial will be at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany, IN. The Pallbearers are Phillip Endris, Luke Endris, Kimber Fogelman, Nathan Wolf, Tony Henson, Brian Crider, Evan Thomas, Matthew Hobbs, and Sean Smith.
