Deborah "Debbie" Begley Herbert, 53, passed away Saturday June 28, 2025 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Savannah, GA. She was born in New Albany, IN. to the late Jack and Betty Begley. Debbie worked in Hospital Medical Records Administration and was a member of the American Cancer Society, but her passion was working with dog rescues and dog shelters. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister: Brenda McGrath.
Debbie is survived by her husband of 29 years, Damon Curtis Herbert, her sons: Curtis and Cameron Herbert, her father-in-law and mother-in-law: Kenneth and Pamela Wilson and her brothers-in-law: Mark McGrath(Missy) and Caleb Wilson(Grace).
A Celebration of Debbie's life will be held at 12 Noon Saturday August 2, 2025 at the Oak Street Chapel of Naville & Seabrook Funeral Homes(1846 E. Oak St.) with burial in Edwardsville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 AM – 12 Noon Saturday before the service.
Memorial contributions may be given in Debbie's memory to the Animal Rescue Corp: 905 Mallard Dr. Gallatin, TN. 37066.
