Norma Louise Frank (Nettle) 5/28/1932 - 9/27/2025
Norma was born in Freestone County Texas to Jewel and Hamp Nettle. She graduated from Fairfield High School at age sixteen. Norma married Perry Albert Frank in 1953. Norma resided in Mesquite for around seventy years. In addition to taking care of her family, she also excelled in her career as a licensed customs broker for over twenty-five years.
Being fortunate to stay active until recently, she loved playing bridge, gardening, painting, quilting, fashion, and did lots of shopping. She enjoyed unique travel including riding elephants with her sister in Thailand. Norma was a long-time member of First Presbyterian Church in Mesquite.
Norma was preceded in death by her husband Perry A. Frank, son Perry Norman Frank, father Hamp Nettle, mother Jewel Blissett, stepfather George Blissett, brothers Joe Neil Nettle and William Lee Nettle, and sister Edith Scott.
She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law Jerry Frank and wife Retha, Joe Sam Frank and wife Barlo and Krystal Frank. Grandchildren Casey Felix, Savannah Frank, Logan Frank, Kayla Doyle and Sam Frank. Great grandchildren Carsyn Felix, Kolton Felix and Mason Frank.
There will be a memorial service at New Hope Funeral Home in Sunnyvale on October 25th at 1:00 followed by a "come and go" celebration from 1:30 to 3:45 at New Hope.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to U.T. Southwestern Medical Center or Shriners Hospitals for Children.
