Norma Crumb Gross, 95, of Cherry Creek passed away Sunday (September 21, 2025) at UPMC Chautauqua. She was born November 20, 1929, the daughter of Clifford Crumb and Edna Peters Crumb Howard. Norma worked in the automotive industry for many years and in later years as a home health aide until the age of 88. She is survived by her son Barry D Gross (Melinda Best) with whom she made her home. Also surviving are four grandchildren: Kyle Fancher, Shawna (Miguel) Torregrosa, Becky Gross and Bethany Smock, nine great-grandchildren, Macey, Adra, Thalia, Victoria, Isabela, Alexandra, Miguel II, Ellie and Leighton, one sister Sandra Crandall (late Jerry Crandall) and daughters Tammy Forte and Dianna Crummett and families, and one nephew Kevin Macey. She was preceded in death by her daughter Vicky Lee Gross Fancher in 2019 and son-in-law Butch Fancher in 2025, sisters Mildred Macey (Morris), Joyce Doverspike, Lois Thoms, niece Little Lois Baldwin, nephews Sonny Thoms and Vincent Thoms. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 27 @ 11:00 AM in the Cherry Creek Cemetery. Pastor Jeff Mitchener of Family Church Mayville will officiate. A celebration of life will be held on November 8, 2025 from 3-6 PM at the Trillium Lodge honoring Vicky Lee Gross Fancher, Butch Fancher and Norma Gross.
