Norma was born August 24, 1935, in Nevada, Iowa, the daughter of Ole and Hattie (Sorenson) Holseid. She attended school in Nevada and graduated from High School in 1954. Norma was united in marriage to Wayne Harrison on August 8, 1956, in Nevada. Wayne preceded Norma in death April 25, 2005. Norma was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking for her family and was an avid reader. She also loved her garden and served as a volunteer at Story County Long Term Care for many years. Norma attended the Stavanger Free Lutheran Church.
Norma is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law: Danny (Sue) Harrison of Nevada, James "Jim" (Sheri) Harrison of Nevada, Norman (Lorry) Harrison of Nevada; ten grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; and a sister: Alta Titus of Nevada.
Norma was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; three brothers: Donald, Clifford, Fred; and four sisters: Katherine, Margret, Dorothy, and Thelma.
The visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. on Saturday July 29, 2023, at Rasmusson-Ryan Funeral Home (1418 Fawcett Parkway) in Nevada, Iowa. A funeral service will follow at 10:30 a.m. Following the graveside service, everyone is invited to join the family for a luncheon at SCORE Pavilion (1543 Fawcett Parkway).
