Norma Helmheckel

Warren – Norma J. Helmheckel, 95, of Warren passed away early Monday morning, November 10, 2025, at St. Joseph Health Care Center. Norma was born on December 31, 1929, in New Bethlehem, PA, the daughter of the late Harold and Annie (Hillard) Shirey. She was a homemaker, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Norma loved caring for others, especially children. She spent her time caring for her family and took great pride in watching her grandchildren and great grandchildren grow up. Her husband, Blake Helmheckel, whom she married October 18, 1953, passed away November 1993. Norma leaves her daughter Lee Ann Ford and her husband David of Warren, five grandchildren, Stephen and Stephanie Krenciprock, Daniel Helmheckel, Brandon and Marilyn Helmheckel, Mathew and Katie Ford, Timothy and Jessica Ford, and seven great grandchildren Shaylynn, John, Keri, Mia, Kandice, Summer, and Destiny. Norma also leaves her two best friends whom she called her adopted daughters, Colleen and Paula. Besides her parents and husband, Norma was preceded in death by a daughter, Jennie, a son Jeffrey, a granddaughter Natalie, a grandson Kerry and two great granddaughters Hayley and Brianna. Following Norma's wishes there are no calling hours or services planned at this time.
