Norma Dean Jensen Jacobs, 96, born August 30, 1928. passed away peacefully on December 26, 2024 in Bountiful, Utah daughter of John Jensen and Lottie Thayer. On April 29, 1948, Norma married Daniel Glenn Jacobs, her high school sweetheart from Granite High, in the Salt Lake City Temple.
Norma’s two great loves were her family and vacationing. She served in many Church positions and touched many lives. Among her favorite was leading and teaching the young women. She was an accomplished violinist.
Norma is survived by her children Steven (Kathy); Gail Holtry (Don); Alan (Linda);17 grandchildren; 76 great-grandchildren; and 19 great-great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and two sisters Della and Fay.
January 4th 2024, Saturday, a viewing starting at 9:00 am will be followed by funeral services at 11:00 am at the Bountiful North Canyon 3rd Ward Chapel 2505 South Davis Blvd., Bountiful. Following, at 2:30 pm, interment will be at Holladay Memorial Cemetery, 4900 South Memory Lane, Holladay, Utah.
