Norma Lee Justus, 89, of Scottsburg, Indiana passed away on Monday, November 25, 2024, at Lake Pointe Village in Scottsburg, Indiana. She was born on July 24, 1935, to the late Lee and Violet (Lawson) Corbin. On March 29, 1952, Norma married the love of her life, Cecil Justus, who preceded her in death. Norma grew up in Linton, Indiana, where she graduated high school. Norma, a dedicated cashier at Coonies Super Value, poured her heart into every interaction, making each customer feel seen and valued. Her unwavering work ethic and genuine smile brightened the days of those around her, leaving a lasting impact on the community she served for many years. She was a member of First Christian Church in Scottsburg, Indiana and was also a member of O.E.S. Chapter #140 in Linton, Indiana. Norma enjoyed a variety of hobbies, such as cross-stitching, Bible reading, flower gardening, and cooking. Norma was especially known for her homemade noodles. In addition to her husband Cecil, she is also preceded in death by her parents and her two brothers Wesley Corbin and Bruce Corbin. Norma is survived by her son Kim (Becky) Justus and daughter Tracee (Lynn) Lamb, both of Scottsburg, Indiana; two grandchildren, Amber (Jason) Hill and Jacob (Stephanie) Justus; six great grandchildren, Jordan (Pamela) Meadows, Raygan Justus, Kennedy Justus, Cheyanne (Dakota) Taylor, Brooke Hill, and Stephen (Rebekah) Hill. Norma also had six great-great grandchildren. Funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 1, 2024, at 2:00pm at Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana. Visitation will be prior to service from 12:00pm to 2:00pm at Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana. Burial will follow at Scottsburg Cemetery, Scottsburg, Indiana.
