Norma Jean McCall

Lifetime Glenpool resident, Norma Jean McCall passed away with loving family by her side on Monday, August 8, 2022, at the age of 78 years.
Norma was born on Friday, October 1, 1943, in Oakhurst, OK to her parents, Clayton and Mildred (Hughes) Baughman. Norma attended Glenpool Public Schools and graduated from Glenpool High School. She met the love of her life, Ronald McCall on a blind date in Sapulpa on January 4, 1964. They were married on April 23, 1964, at Norma's parents' home in Glenpool, Oklahoma.
Norma and Ron celebrated 58 years of marriage earlier this year.
Norma worked for over 23 years for Glenpool Public Schools in the Administrative Offices, retiring in 2008. Ron and Norma worked in the press box announcing Glenpool Warrior football games for many, many years. Norma was always looking for ways to continually support Glenpool Public Schools, its staff, and teachers along with the students. She enjoyed cooking, growing flowers, and spending time with her family. She adored her grandkids, she was their biggest fan, attending all their different events.
She is preceded in death by father, Clayton Baughman; mother, Mildred Baughman; sister, Marietta Pilant; and brother, Clinton Baughman.
Norma leaves many loving memories with her family, husband Ronald McCall; son Craig McCall; son Bruce McCall; grandson Chance McCall; granddaughter Avary McCall; grandson Cade McCall; great-grandson Ramiel Jrue McCall Motte; sister Helen Anson; brother-in-law Jack Anson; sister Barbara Simon; brother-in-law Jerry Simon; brother Frank Baughman; sister-in-law Peggy Baughman; brother Jerry Baughman; sister-in-law Paw Baughman; along with many other loving relatives and a host of friends.
Public Viewing/Visitation will be held 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM Friday, August 12, 2022, at Schaudt's Glenpool Funeral Service.
Funeral Service will be held 10:00 AM August 13, 2022, at Schaudt's Glenpool Funeral Service Chapel, with Pastor Jason Cowan officiating.
