Norma McFerren Obituary
Norma Lee McFerren, age 96, passed away on January 28, 2026. She was born on July 17, 1929 at her family farm to William and Hazel Leora (Kelly) Morrison.
Norma was a member of the Red Hatters. She loved to travel and read. Norma skydived at the age of 75 and again when she was 80. She had a joyful laugh and loved life.
Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Whitey Herzog, Kelly (Corena) Albert; daughter, Kathy (Wayne) Young; grandchildren, Marla (Kevin) Cason, Stacy Shreiner, Laine Shreiner, Kendra Butler, Aaron Herzog, Zac Herzog, Kelsey (Adam) Deeter, Kyle (Ashley) Albert, and Kaylee Young; great-grandchildren, Austin Butler, Riley Court, Dalton Albert, Dylan Albert, and Elliana Deeter; great-great-grandchild, Wren Court; son-in-law, Kenny Butler; brother, Rick Morrison; sister, Lorri Ann Campbell-Goff; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Her extended family includes three step-children, Mary Lou Helsley, Tammy Milat and Lorie Bagnell; five step-grandchildren; nine great-step-grandchildren; and one honorary step-son, Joe Young.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William McFerren; daughter, Karen Butler; brother, Bill Morrison; and son-in-law, Dan Young.
A funeral service will be held at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home on Friday, February 6th 12:00 p.m. with a visitation two hours prior. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
