Martin S. McFerren, 92, of Bushkill, Pennsylvania died Wednesday, August 28, 2024, at the Lehigh Valley Hospice House in East Stroudsburg. He was the loving husband of Carol (Cody) McFerren with whom he shared over 52 years of marriage. Born in Portsmouth, Ohio, he was the son of the late Marcus and Ines McFerren.
Martin proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He received his Bachelors in Science from Ohio State University and was employed as a purchasing agent for commercial aircraft production. After retirement, he was always keeping busy with projects around his home. He took pride in keeping his home looking its best. Martin also enjoyed fishing.
There will be no services. Private cremation has been entrusted to the Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home, Inc., 23 N 9th Street, Stroudsburg, PA 18360.

Martin, you have failed to make your battle stations during general quarters. You are now relieved from your watch. A job well done fellow navy veteran. America thanks you for your service to our country in the defense of freedom. The carrier has turned into the wind preparing for your final departure. The honor guards are stationed and final volley has sounded. Taps is about to sound ending a successful career as a nation“s defender. Smooth sailing shipmate.
