Norma Menei Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by High Lawn Funeral Home on Feb. 20, 2026.
Norma Rhodes Menei, born October 13, 1939, grew up in Glen Jean, West Virginia, went to heaven on February 18, 2026.

Norma was a devoted, God-fearing woman whose faith guided her throughout her life. She found great joy in attending church, reading her Bible, and living out her beliefs through kindness, love, and quiet strength. Her relationship with the Lord was the foundation of her life, and she carried that faith into every season.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Vincent Menei; her sister, Mary D'Angelo; her brother, Carmen D'Angelo; and her sister, Lillie Mae Shrout; and many other siblings and loved ones.

Norma cherished time spent with her family above all else. She loved gathering with her children and grandchildren, sharing stories, laughter, and encouragement. She also had a special place in her heart for animals and found comfort in reading scripture.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Toni Anderson (Eddie), Beth Menei (Randy), Carmen Griffin (Bryan), and Nicole Duncan (Adam); her son, Vincent D'Angelo (Teresa); her grandchildren, Andrew D'Angelo (Lissy), Sarah Wingrove (Ethan), Autumn Ball (Cody), Ayden Anderson (Nicole), Brianna Wingrove (Chad), Mariah Marion, Alex D'Angelo, Jaden Anderson, Talia Sigmon (Bradley), Justin Ball and Vincent D'Angelo; and her great-grandchildren, Ava Ball, Styles Ball, Jackson Ball, Luca D'Angelo and Cambree Sigmon along with many other loving family members and friends.

Norma's life was a beautiful example of faith, devotion, and unconditional love. Though she is no longer with us in body, her legacy of faith and family will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at High Lawn Funeral Home in Oak Hill, West Virginia, with Rev. Richard Midkiff officiating. Interment will follow in High Lawn Memorial Park.

Friends may visit with the family 1 hour prior to the service.

Norma's family would like to give a special thanks to hospice during this hard time and a special thank you to Lindsay.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mount Hope Wesleyan Church in her honor.

Online condolences may be sent to the family via www.highlawnfuneralhome.com.
